'Christmas' is 'one from the heart' from cello sensation HAUSER, celebrating his lifelong affection for the music of the Christmas season in an album of favourite carols and songs, sumptuously arranged for orchestra and choir to feature his inimitable cello artistry. The music of Christmas was a beloved part of HAUSER's childhood and family life in his native Croatia. Sharing that with the world has been one of his dreams. In addition to 12 global perennials both classic ('Silent Night', 'The First Noel') and pop ('White Christmas', 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas'), 'Christmas' also includes 'Amazing Grace' and a personal favorite of HAUSER's, one of Mozart's most radiant melodic inspirations, 'Laudate Dominum'.
Dedicated to frontline workers across the globe, "Alone,Together" is the latest effort in HAUSER’s continued goal to provide audiences everywhere a much-needed musical escape and solace in these troubling times. The event will feature the acclaimed cellist performing his renditions of classic compositions, including numbers from his recent debut solo album "Classic".
“At this time of unprecedented difficulty, the human spirit has shown its strength. It is found in the ordinary people whose extraordinary work is saving lives, in the key workers on the frontline and in those of us who have just stayed home. Though we are forced apart, we have come together. We stand united while we keep our distance, and find hope in our humanity.”
